This is one of those neighborhood hangouts that’s also good enough that people make an effort to visit. Antica serves rustic Italian food, like papardelle with wild boar ragout. All pastas are homemade. If you’re looking for garlicky pasta in red sauce, this is not the place for you.

Parking:	Parking in Russian Hill is challenging to put it mildly. However, you’ll have better luck if you go further away from the restaurant towards Galileo High School, which is about a four-minute walk. Otherwise, take a Van Ness or Polk bus.
