Ice cream usually brings a smile to my face, and Bi-Rite is a favorite. Owned and operated by the folks who bring you Bi-Rite Market across the street, the Creamery (known by some as the Dreamery) always has lines out the door.

My favorite flavor (and I think that of many others) is the salted caramel. Mmm mmm good. And though it sounds weird, I've heard the roasted banana with chocolate curry bits is great. Bi-Rite's ice cream sandwiches use thick, chewy cookies and I highly recommend the mint chip with chocolate cookies and the lemon with gingersnaps.

Noise:	Not relevant. Since there are only a few counter seats, get your ice cream and head over to Dolores Park across the street to enjoy.

Parking:	Parking in the Mission is a nightmare at almost any time of the day. However, there are a few paid lots nearby. Alternatively, take BART or a Mission or Valencia bus.
Date place?	Yup. It's got hype and it lives up to it.
