I first came here during college when I was just discovering my love for great food. Maybe it’s that my taste buds have matured, but the food has gotten better over time. Like a lot of other Berkeley/Rockridge restaurants, many of the ingredients are organic. I love the butternut squash soup with shredded duck confit and the gnocchi with chanterelles. Brunch is also great and there is usually no line!
Parking isn’t bad, as this place is a few blocks away from the BART station. However, you still might have to circle for 5 minutes. Alternatively, take BART to the Rockridge stop and walk for 5 minutes.
