Even tourists know about La Taqueria, but only locals come to these taco trucks parked along Harrison and 19th and Harrison and 22nd. The neighborhood can be sketchy, depending on what time of the day you come, so be alert. The tacos and burritos from the trucks are tasty and very cheap. And no, I’ve never gotten sick from them.

Dress:	Casual. The faded 501s and shorts are OK.
Noise:	Not relevant. Once you get your food, you will either take it home, stand on the street and eat it, or eat it on a nearby park bench.
Reservations:	Irrelevant.
Payment:	Cash only.
Parking:	Parking in this area is not bad, since it’s a few blocks off from Mission. The truck is probably not something that I would drive out of my way for anyway, but if you’re in the area, it’s a cheap, fast meal.
Date place?	Only if you want to show your date how much of a local and how cheap you really are.
