This is an all-out special occasion, pricey French place. I love it. The dining room sits under a silk tented fabric reminiscent of Monet’s Water Lilies. If you like foie gras, you're going to love this place. It's all over the menu...in about five different forms.
The service is also great. We've lived on the West Coast so long that we forgot that there are places with suit and tie dress codes! However, although we were a little under-dressed, no one on the staff made us feel that way. When a lady next to us didn't eat much of one course, the maitre d' asked if he could replace the dish with another. The chef looks at every single plate when it goes back in the kitchen. It's that kind of place!
