The food reflects the name. Home serves up comfort food, like meatloaf, but with modern twists. The prix fixe dinner is the best deal in the city.

Cuisine:	Comfort Food / American
Price:	An incredible deal: $11 3-course prix fixe, including wine, on weekdays if you order before 6PM. Only $8 if you don’t have wine! I know it’s hard to get out of work that early…but I’ve done it before… Otherwise, entrees are $10-15.
Dress:	Casual and up. The faded 501s and shorts are OK daywear but try for more at dinner.
Noise:	Not bad. You can definitely have a good conversation here.
Reservations:	Recommended, but you don’t have to book far in advance. (OpenTable)
Payment:	Cash and credit cards.
Parking:	Parking in the Castro is not great, but not as bad as some other areas of the city. Still, I would take public transit. It’s a two-minute walk from the most of the MUNI streetcar lines.
Date place?	This is good for dates unless you are being cheap and have a 5:30 reservation M-F.
