The original Bistro Jeanty is in Napa and has a French country farmhouse feel. Jeanty at Jack’s has a classy, mahogany wood old club type of feel and is more formal. My favorites are the tomato soup served with a puff pastry crust and the steak frites with green peppercorn butter.
Parking in the evenings is a piece of cake. Not fun during the day, but there are lots of expensive paid lots nearby. Alternatively, take BART to the Embarcadero or Montgomery stops.
Date place?
Sure, but keep in mind that there’s not a whole lot else to do in the Financial District at night. You have to walk a bit to go to any sort of café, bar, or club.
