Sahn Maru offers more than just the typical bi bim bop, bu gol gi and kal bi. It counts some spicy black goat stews among its specialties. Though I'm not usually a fan of game-y meat, the black goat is OK by me. However, my personal favorite is the seafood pancake, an appetizer big enough to feed 4-5.
The pan chan (small plates) that accompany the meal are delicious. For a great finishing touch, your friendly server will deliver a cold cinammon tea after you finish your meal.
Usually not a problem. However, there is a big screen TV showing Korean soaps, talk shows, or sports at all times.
Reservations:
None needed.
Payment:
Cash and credit cards.
Parking:
Parking is not that difficult in this area. If you can't find parking right on Telegraph, go for a side street.
Date place?
Though Sahn Maru is super clean, I wouldn't really count it as a date place. The big screen TV can be distracting and you will both smell like Korean BBQ afterwards.
