Pronounced so-she-ahl-lay, you might have a hard time finding it, as it’s down a flight of stairs in an alleyway. The pastas are homemade and the fried olives plate is the signature appetizer. It’s big enough to share with 2-3 others. For me, it’s not that any one dish is so good that you need to come here. It’s more of an overall feel. It’s a neighborhood place that’s simultaneously comfortable and sophisticated.
Parking in this area is not too bad, especially if you stick with looking on California, which has a high turnover. I usually park in front of Laurel Village. There’s also a parking lot in back of Laurel Village. Otherwise, take the 1 bus.
