This place was started by the Rosenthal brothers, who cooked at Postrio for years. The food is upscale American with some twists, including wrapping bacon around almost everything. My personal favorites are the fried chicken and ribeye steak. Done just right! For dessert, the butterscotch and chocolate pudding is really better than it even sounds.
I love the dining room, which like its name suggests, is comfortable and a bit farmhousy. Servers bring your bill in an old book, rather than an ugly plastic folio with a credit card logo embossed on it.
Chic casual and up. Sevens and Diesels are OK, faded 501s and shorts aren’t.
Noise:
Some tables are a little close together and the place has hardwood floors, so you'll have to raise your voice.
Reservations:
Highly recommended, and book far in advance. (OpenTable)
Payment:
Cash and credit cards.
Parking:
Parking should not be a problem at night but allocate an extra 5-10 minutes just in case. During the day, it’s much more difficult but there are paid lots around.
